Is FairFetch free to use?
Yes — FairFetch is completely free for pet owners. Always.
How do I know the prices are accurate?
Practices on FairFetch publish their own prices in compliance with CMA guidelines. We display them exactly as submitted and encourage you to confirm pricing directly with the practice before booking.
What does the CMA have to do with it?
The Competition and Markets Authority investigated the UK veterinary sector and found that pet owners were being overcharged due to a lack of price transparency. Practices are now required to publish clear pricing. FairFetch makes it easy to find and compare those prices in one place.
Can I book appointments through FairFetch?
Where practices offer online booking, we link directly to their booking system. In other cases, we provide phone numbers and website links so you can contact them directly.
Why aren't all UK practices listed yet?
FairFetch is in its early stages. We're inviting practices to list and we're growing our database every week. If your local vet isn't listed, you can prompt them to join at fairfetch.co.uk/for-vets.
How do I get my vet practice listed?
Head to our For Vets page and join the waitlist. We'll be in touch with listing details, and early registrations get Pro features free for 3 months.
